Applied AI Lab · pilot project
Plumbing Assistant
The first pilot project in Applied AI Lab: a specialised AI assistant for plumbing work with a RAG-oriented, context-aware and provider-agnostic direction — built with Codex and published on GitHub.
What we built
We created the lab's first concrete use case: Plumbing Assistant — a pilot that brings the Applied AI idea into a real professional domain. Here, the RAG and agnostic ideas are an architectural direction for grounded answers and less dependence on one model or provider, not a marketing promise of a finished product.
- explore a RAG-oriented approach to context-grounded answers;
- think model/provider-agnostic instead of tying the idea to one vendor;
- build and document the direction together with Codex.
